Because of a five-person rotation, I got to see Peyton for just 20 minutes. But, he looked smooth. He was working on sidestepping and I commend him for that. He was able to keep up with play well.

I'd like to see Peyton continue to work on making eye contact with center -- even for veteran refs that can be a work in progress. I also would like to see him continue to work on moving all the way to goal line as the ball goes deeper.

Peyton is a new adult ref, but he did all of the pre-season tournaments and that experience showed. And, given his age and having a few games under his belt, Peyton was still eager to learn and readily accepted instruction and implemented what was discussed. A strong candidate for full-sided games soon.
