Movement off the ball is good. You work well to find proper angles to have good view to make decisions, even if your distance from the ball can still be worked on. Remember 10-20 yds from play at all times. You have a tendency to get into good position, then stay there and not move too much until the next phase of play has moved on. Try to anticipate the action so you are in the position you need to be before play gets there. Think 1-2 plays ahead. That being said your physical movement was steady and good throughout the match.

Foul recognition was excellent. You called what needed to be called and allowed play to flow when the game demanded. You have a natural ability to know when to blow your whistle. You also had several really good penalty area decision you got correct. Keep in mind that when you put the whistle to your mouth but do not blow, players and coaches can view this as indecision, which could cause you trouble later in the match. They will try to find any gap in your armor and exploit so that they control the game, not you. (Law 5: All decisions of the referee are final). You are the Work on controlling your body language so that you do not cause yourself unnecessary trouble. Players already give you enough to think about. SEE -> DECIDE -> BLOW.
Remember you are in control of the clock - if it takes you 5 seconds to make a decision, that is ok. What matters is that you get the call correct.
(Recall the LOTG give you freedom to make any decision, as long as play has not yet restarted: Law 5.2, Paragraph 3, "...if play has restarted...." Even if ball is out of play, as long as play has not yet restarted, you can go back and make a call.)

You have a tendency to do a double-handed signal around your waist to indicate there is no foul. There are three types of no foul: 1) No offense - play as normal. 2) Wait and see - see what develops and if victim's team will benefit from you not calling anything. This is you giving a few seconds before deciding you want to stop play and restart with a free kick. 3) Advantage - Must be accompanied by hand signal (one or two arms raised, with a verbal, "Play on"). Keep in mind four Ps: Players (who is involved from attack and defense?) Possession (Team fouled must keep and retain possession.) Position (Where on field did foul occur?) Potential (How imminent is a goal-scoring opportunity?). Key here is potential. Is a free kick an advantage and/or goal-scoring opportunity?
There is no reason to raise your hands to any position unless it is also accompanied by the verbal cry. By not blowing your whistle, you acknowledge there is no foul.

Jose was great and kept good control throughout the match. Would like to see him on a faster paced game to see how his positioning and movement are affected. Overall, good and needs opportunity to show himself on higher level matches.
