Comment on offside signaling
In the first game there was an OS infraction where Andi raised his flag (correctly and in a timely manner) where Joe the Referee did not see his signal. Andi kept it up for about 7 seconds then lowered it when the Referee did not whistle. At the moment Andi dropped the flag, the attacking team still had possession, although they did not score a goal.
After the 1st game we discussed this event and I emphasized that in these situations it was advisable to only lower the flag once the defending team gained clear possession of the ball.
In the second game a similar OS situation occurred where again Joe did not see Andi's OS flag. This time Andi correctly waited for possession to change in favor of the defending team and them lower the flag. Andi did well to learn from the first game's event.
After the 2nd game I suggested that a good pregame from the Referee was to have his ARs call his name in situations where a raised flag is not immediately seen.

Comments for the Mentee
You did thing well in the 2 matches I observed. For instance, I thought your for a foul in the penalty area was timely and accurate. Just remember that you should point direction after the Referee's whistle. You also did well during this PK event to remember to move to move to the intersection of the PA line and the goal line. Good job.
Also, I like how you demonstrated a valid goal scored signal by running back up the touchline with the flag down in your right hand after looking at the Referee.
Remember that on corner kicks, especially those in your corner, to position yourself in line with the goal line about 2 yards back from the touch line. Note that when the kick is in the opposite corner you can be up on the touchline or even in front of the corner flag.
Also please work on anticipating attacks especially those that move quickly through the defensive line or past the last field defender. This is where it's important to stay with the attack, and run balls to the goal line.

Mentor's Recommendation
Mentee needs to another AR mentor game
Comments for the Assignor
Andi is on the right track but could use another game with a mentor to provide him the opportunity to put into practice what he learned over these 2 games. The two areas I hoping to see him improve on is: 1) consistently adjusting with the last field defender along with quicker anticipation of attacking runs and 2) more consistently finishing his runs to the goal line.
