Joy demonstrated the ability to move about the field, staying close to play when needed.

I reminded her at half time to do more checking in with her ARs at ball out of play situations. And also to look back at AR1 and/or the Officials Area for subs ought, especially during throw-in along AR2's touchline.

For unfair contact between opponents, Joy made the appropriate foul calls. The player appeared to accept these decisions. She also correctly let play continue for fair contact between opponents.

Joy appeared to communicate effectively and appropriately with the players during the match. And given the very windy day, this was a challenging endeavor.

I gave guidance on how to whistle and signal to grant a substitution, and to whistle to allow the restart after subbing. She followed those instructions and improved on her whistle/signal for subs during the remainder of the game.

Joy's corner kick arm signals needed to be elevated higher. I advised that she raise her arm higher to a 45 degree angle to make clear the restart was a CK and contrasted it from her goal kick signals. She integrated that advice and improved in her CK signals after that.
