Good movement and great engagement throughout both games. You have a good understanding of the diagonal and were clearly taking wide angles to watch play. This also helped you see AR flags for offside. You also had some great moments of following play into the penalty area. Areas to work on: there were a few times when you positioned far right of play closely duplicating the view of your leading AR. We talked about restart positions to help with this: kickoff (stand to the left of the ball); corner kicks (generally near top of penalty area on your side of the field and then adjust based on player movements); goal kicks/keeper release (near halfway and on your right when facing the goalkeeper. This will generally allow you to run into your diagonal when the ball lands and you turn to run up field).

Good foul recognition and selection. This included a correct handball call and also a double touch on a kick-off. Allowing the player to redo the kick-off showed a good understanding of the players’ age group.

Very good interaction with your crew. After the match you led a good discussion (reflection) with your crew about what had happened in the match. Keep up the good work!

Good AR communication and throw-in signals. Areas to work on: good goal kick signals using your right hand. Consider using your left hand instead. This will help tend to turn your body and eye contact towards your AR. Corner kicks signals should have your arm rotated out about 45 degrees and up about 45 degrees. This will help your AR clearly differentiate between your corner and goal kick signals. Remember to raise your arm on indirect free kicks. Overall David, a very good showing!
