Make sure to keep an eye on where the kicker places the ball on corner kicks next to you. You missed a single instance of the player placing the ball out of the corner kick. Usually a few words are enough to make the player notice where he has placed the ball.

Comment on offside signaling
Make sure to stay square to the field in a ready position when there are a lot of players in the penalty area, such as on a corner and during the immediate aftermath. This is the time the offside is changing the quickest, so you need be following, especially if the goalkeeper comes up a little and is no longer the last defender. Remind yourself offside line is at the second to last defender, not the last field defender.

Remember that as an AR, you are still a referee and have full authority over the technical areas and coaching staff. As AR1, you need to control the team areas and make sure the coaches are respecting your space as well. You need to establish your presence earlier in the match, before the match starts, so there are no incidents if you start enforcing the technical area only in the second half, as happened in this match. You are in control! The coaches need to know this and you need to be more vigilant in enforcing they stay within their area and do not encroach upon you, upon the field, or upon the other team's area.
