Movement and positioning were good... we did talk about you stopping short as ball approached penalty area... keep running, get closer to play when you may need to make those critical decisions. It's not about whether you can see the foul, it's about selling the call... and avoiding those long seconds that will tic by as you run towards the spot if you do end up calling a penalty.

We discussed regonizing player urgency when retrieving a ball that went out of play... when they look like they want to restart quickly, decide if you want to hold up the restart to allow a sub, especially when it's the other team that has players checked in. Consider letting the restart go and delaying the sub until later. Helps keep the flow of the game.

We discussed not being a "traffic cop"... only do 1 signal at a time. You mentioned seeing other referees doing that, so you thought that was the expectation. Roll that back to what you were doing before.

Uniform was good... nit picky thing, consider getting the official black referee socks from OSI, with the center stripe. It looks good when the whole crew matches... and if/when you start doing higher lever games such as ECNL or RL games, you'll need them.

I really enjoyed watching this match. You have an intensity and a focus, without being overbearing on the game, which I think will serve you well. Keep putting in the work, and getting all the feedback you can. Hopefully I'll get the chance to be your AR on a game sometime soon, I would love the opportunity.

Andy had a strong performance; the bar he set for fouls, and the tone he set for the game were perfect. We corrected a few issues with mechanics... and he does have a repeated habit of stopping his movement as play enters the penalty area. That was the most critical thing in this match I would like to see corrected for future matches.
Overall, this was an easy match for Andy, and he had very little to do in terms of critical match decisions.
