Julio moved well and followed a strong diagonal. I would like to see him get deeper into the final third and wider to get a better perspective on play. Needs to be a bit closer to play to avoid missed calls. That being said, he only had one AR so he had a lot more field to cover and additional offside decisions, which made his task tougher.

Missed what appeared to be a pretty obvious PK. Also overlooked several other likely fouls that could have been caught if he was closer to play. Again, having only one AR was a hindrance.

Consistently missed bringing in subs who were at the half line. This was causing the coaches to get needlessly irate and resulted in the temperature of the sidelines to rise. Tried to explain this to him, but there was a language barrier that we tried to work through. It seemed to have worked to a certain degree as he did a better job in the second half of getting in subs.

It's tough being evaluated (and evaluating) when there is not a full crew. I think Julio for the most part did a fair job. The way he moved leads me to think that he can adequately cover the field when he a full crew. Would like to see him tighten his foul bar. He definitely needs to make more consistent eye contact with AR(s) to catch calls and bring in subs. This game could have spiraled away if the coaches had been true hard asses, and it's just not acceptable to this caused by substitution issues.
