Comments for the Mentee
Isabel was struggling at the start of the game. I attempted to run the line with her talking as we went and found that it wasn't working well with me. As Lili Xiao had been approved by Glen and in an attempt to help Isabel I spoke with Lili and asked if she would act as AR1 and explain her actions to Isabel running behind her. At half Lili and I spoke with Isabel and we gave her back the flag and her and Lili changed positions. Lili stayed behind her explaining the view. Isabel improved over the second half in all area's. After the game Lili and I spoke to Isabel who was smiling and I asked how are you feeling. She stated she was feeling better and that she was understanding better. She really tried hard and was 100% better in the second half. I am saying needs improvement so she can have a few more mentors and build her confidence and skill set. Good job Isabel.

Comments for the Assignor
Coaches were very understanding of how we were trying to work with Isabel and thought our approach was good. The shadowing really seemed to help her and Lili did a great job explaining while doing the job. I think as a mentor she wasn't connecting with me so that is why I ask Lili to try and connect with her. Lili was successful at connecting and maintaining that connection throughout the game. She is very much an introvert and it is hard to get her to open up but she was much better at the end of the game.
