You had a number of correct foul calls including a push just above the penalty area late in the first half. You also correctly stopped play in the 45' following a goalkeeper/attacker collision when the goalkeeper was slow to get up. There was one moment in the 9' when both you and AR1 signaled for a throw-in for AYSO, but Rapids was allowed to take it and play continued. In these moments, stop play and quickly resolve the restart with your AR, and then enforce the correct direction.

Generally a good job interacting with your team. The referee and both ARs showed good eye contact with each other. You also did a notably very good job leading the pregame, halftime, and postgame discussions. Your positioning and teamwork allowed you to recognize the ARs signals, including those for offside, throughout the match.

1) You arrived early, took care of pre-game duties, and started the match on time - actually a few minutes early 🙂
2) You communicated well with your team and had some good on-field moments talking to the players and describing your decision to one of the coaches
3) Good work rate kept you close to play
Areas for Improvement:
1) Kickoff and goal kick position - think about "running into your diagonal" and keeping play on your right. Avoid being central on goal kicks and keeper releases.
2) You do a good job using your ARs but tend to look for their input on every boundary decision, including those in your quadrants. While there will be instances you will need help in your quadrant, the referee is usually much closer than the AR in these instances. You're doing a good job - keep working to develop confidence in making these calls.
3) Recognize critical moments for the referee. Following a goal, you tend to immediately turn your back and record the score in your book. Recognize this as a moment when emotions could be high and there could be a late hit, push, or other misconduct near the goal. Keep your eye on the area until the players dissipate and then record your score. You can review this with your ARs in the pregame - follow "TLC" for recording goals - Trailing AR, Leading AR, then the Center Referee, keeping two sets of eyes on the field at all times.
