Good work rate resulted in a nice job keeping up with play. Numerous good sprints along the diagonal when needed.

Good applications of the rules. You correctly called a foul about 15 seconds into the match. This let participants know that you would call fouls and helped establish your early control of the match.

Good pregame with crew and leading discussion before the game, at halftime, and after the match.

I had made a comment to you about crossing your left arm over your body when signaling corner kicks to your right. You mentioned that a previous mentor had suggested this to you to help encourage eye contact with your AR. I checked with some other referees and mentors and their input on this was inconclusive. However, I noted that the center referee on last night's NM United did exactly this! Since we try to mimic what professional referees do (and avoid what they don't do), please ignore my on-field comment and continue making your corner kick signals as you are doing.

Good professional appearance. This helped show your engagement with the match immediately upon arrival and as a result helps to limit later dissent.

Areas to work on:
Communication - You tend to have a single consistent whistle blast for all situations. Keep working with your whistle to develop different tones and pitches. Work on developing a double tweet for situations you want the players' attention. Work on verbalizing with the players. There was a sequence early in the first half when Los Alamos had three high kicks in quick succession. This was a missed moment to use your voice, "Watch the high kicks, please!". There were also a number of correct no-call handball situations where players and coaches were calling for the foul. These again would be good moments to use your voice, "Ball to hand!" or "Hand in tight! Natural position!".
Recognize critical moments for the referee - After goals are scored you tend to turn immediately and start to note the score in your book. Recognize this as a moment when emotions could be high and there could be a late hit, push, or other misconduct near the goal. Keep your eye on the area until the players dissipate and then record your score. You can review this with your ARs in the pregame - follow "TLC" for recording goals - Trailing AR, Leading AR, then the Center Referee, keeping two sets of eyes on the field at all times. We also discussed recognizing injuries and beckoning the coach on the field as a critical moment. Once the coach is beckoned, move quickly away from the player and the coach's path. This will help avoid a potential unpleasant coach interaction requiring further management from the referee.

Regan has a solid understanding of applying the basic laws and positioning. Recommend that she keeps working a few more games at this level to continue building confidence before moving to higher level games.
