Positioning/Movement
Positioning along touchline during active play and staying at the offside line
2 = Satisfactory
Positioning/Movement Comments
Generally good and improving positioning over the three games we did together. Keep working to get to the corner, particularly when the ball is bouncing near the goal line. Try to make your goal kick and corner kick signals near the flag. This will help condition you to follow play to the corner. This point was emphasized the 33' of the 11:00 game when the ball hit the crossbar and went nearly straight down. Only the AR in correct position can accurately judge if the ball crossed the goal line into the goal before bouncing back out.

Comment on offside signaling
Nice job correctly recognizing and signaling offside in multiple instances throughout the morning. This included correctly continuing to hold the up while the center referee initially missed your indication.
Accuracy when signaling throw-ins
1 = Good
Correct mechanics when signaling throw-ins
3 = Needs Improvement
Comment on throw-in signaling
Your confidence continued to build throughout the morning. Work on making eye contact with the center referee before making indications. This couple with body language will help avoid situations where the AR and CR show conflicting indications. Keep working to build your confidence and making clear and crisp signals.

Uniform/Appearance comments
As discussed, get velcro for your badge. You can order this online or purchase locally at the local soccer shop, Walmart, or similar. It's also good for the AR to have a watch to help keep back-up time for the referee. The watch doesn't need to be fancy - just a stopwatch or timer function. Again, around $20 on-line or at Walmart. I was impressed that you carried and wrote in your book. Continue to do this and help the referee keep track of goals, misconduct (cards), and serious injuries.
Comments for the Mentee
Oscar, you showed steady improvement throughout the morning. Keep working on positioning and building your confidence. Work on making eye contact with the referee before making throw-in signals. We discussed that you generally have time to slow down your decision, make the eye contact, and get the call correct. Thank you again for being a referee - keep up the good work!
Mentor's Recommendation
Mentee is Good to AR games
Comments for the Assignor
Oscar showed improvement and willingness to learn throughout the morning. The tournament setting was very short on time, and I would have liked more time to work with him. That said, I think he is ok to AR games at this level.
