Rez had the basic concept of focusing on the second last defender. Play was such that he wasn't challenged. No offside situations presented.

His uniform looked good. He had all the basics, but had mostly white shoes. I mentioned this to him.
Comments for the Mentee
Rez, it was great to meet you and watch you referee. For your very first match you did a great job. You came dressed properly and made a very good first impression as a referee. You looked good like a referee should and you carried yourself very well. I'm sorry we didn't get much time to discuss your match afterwards because you had to move to another field. Your focus on the offside line (2nd to last defender) was pretty good. Make sure you are always aware of the position of the 2nd last defender even if active play is in the other half of the field. You kept position with the 2nd to last defender when it mattered. You did very well with the goal kick and corner kick signals, giving both with the right hand. And finally, Rez, try your best to get into the habit of moving the flag to the hand that is closest to the field when you change direction of movement so the referee can see it. This action should be such a habit that it happens without having to think about it. Again, it was a pleasure to meet you and I wish you the best.

Comments for the Assignor
I observed Rez for only one match as he had to move to another field directly after his first match. He was very nervous at the beginning but gained confidence as the match unfolded. He showed up late, about 12 minutes before kickoff so we didn’t have much time to get acquainted. Based on my observation I think he is ready to do AR work with a recommendation to put him with a referee who can mentor during the match. He does understand the responsibilities of offside and out of play. His signal mechanics are good for GK/CK/TI. No opportunity for offside signal. Great showing for a first match.
