Hi Amelia, your did a great job for your 1st game. You have a strong offside position. and you keep up with the game really well. I hope that working with Kian aided in your understanding of the referee thought process decision process. I would suggest downloading the IFAB ap so you can refer to the laws when you have questions. I would suggest reviewing Law 6 specially the assistant referee signals and Law 11 offside. Hi Amelia did really well for her 1st game. We had Kian run the line and Amelia follow to understand the decision making process. This option has really helped the newer referee's comprehend how we look at a game and how to determine a call. It seems with some of the youth referee's are more timid if I run the line with them or even if Molly runs the line. Putting a peer who is doing well with them allows the opportunity to ask questions that they might not ask us. I have observed a difference in the demeanor with this option.
