Hi Santiago, Thank you for the effort today and being diligent in your learning. I suggest downloading the IFAB ap. I would suggest reading section 6 the other match officials. Specifically the signals and the position of the flag for those signals. Also read section 11 for offside. You will get better as you go.

Santiago struggled with the first game at AR2. In the 2nd half I had him run the line behind Kian so that he could understand what we look at and for. He was very hesitant to make calls and I explained that he needed to make the call and that it would be fine. After running behind Kian, I asked if he had a better understanding of how we judge things and how to decide on a call. His Dad was sitting near me and I suggested to have him read the Assistant Referee signal section of the Laws of the game. He will need more mentoring.
