Comments for the Mentee
Eye contact and non-verbal communication was something of an issue, but he also was working with a new center, as well. A lot of information was thrown at Andi in a brief amount of time and he took it in, processed it and for the most part was able to translate guidance onto the field. Being a first-time ref was not overwhelming for Andi and he approached his center assignments with confidence. I'd like to see that confidence manifested with his whistle, but that is something that will come with time and more guidance.

Andi obviously lacked experience but he accepted feedback well and picked things up quite quickly. He is still very raw and I think it would be good for him to continue to be mentored. He does know the game quite well and I expect he will make strong progress with ongoing tutelage. As a center, he was working with just one AR, so iwas difficult to tell how that will translate into working with a full crew with more advanced players.
