Zach is able to properly position himself along the goal line for a GK/CK
However, Zach tends to "ball watch" a lot. Meaning he loves watching the ball so much he stands still and completely loses where the second to last defender has moved to. It only happens sometimes, but it definitely needs some work.

Zach understands the offside rules, and his he is able to signal offside using the correct mechanics.

Zach often "overthinks" what the right answer is when the ball leaves the field of play. For example, he knows that red kicked it out, therefore, blue will take the throw in! And then he signals in the completely opposite direction. This led to a lot of confusion for the center referee and the players. I did see him improve on his throw-in decisions as the day went on and by his last game it was much better.
