Over all movement was ok. A couple of times he needed to get closer to play. He missed a foul in the middle of the field because he was too far away.

During the first game, he would never put his hands up for offside. He didn't point to the center circle when a goal was scored, and he didn't point to the spot on a penalty kick. He basically only signaled for corner kick and throw in.

Every game you improved. I still think you need more mentor games as a center referee. There are still some laws you don't quite have a grasp on ALL of the laws of the game. I think you are a sold AR and have potential as a center referee. I liked that you asked a lot of questions. That will only make you better.

Comments for the Assignor
First of all I want to tell you the field conditions were absolutely horrible. The lines were thin and hard to see, and the goals were plastic and bowing. Non of this was his fault but thought it was worth mentioning.
Overall he needs work. I liked that he asked a lot of questions throughout the games, but he is quiet.
During the mentor meeting we talked about a penalty kick he administered last week. Well in game one, he had another penalty kick, where he started to line up in the same way. I immediately stopped the game to ask him if it happened in the penalty area. He said yes, then I told him it was a penalty kick. I moved the AR into position and he began to set up for the penalty kick. He had no management for the penalty kick. He place the ball on the spot, told the kids to move behind the penalty area and blew his whistle. The goal keeper was like a foot in front of his line. The goal scored so I didn't worry about it, but if the goal had been saved, or he missed it, I would have made them redo it because the goal keeper was not in position. At half time I made a diagram and explained how he should manage the penalty kick and showed him what he did wrong and how to improve.
In game 2 he missed a double touch on a goal kick. It never happened again. Because of that I don't think he understands that law.
As an AR he was more competent. In fact, he as probably the best AR out of the 3 I mentored. That is not to say he didn't make mistakes, but at least he looked a lot better with the flag. He ran the line, signaled with the correct hand, and made correct calls.
He is good to go as an AR but needs another mentor game as a Center.
