Positioning along touchline during active play and staying at the offside line
Positioning/Movement Comments
There are times when you sprint very well, but other times where you walk to get into position. This game didn’t require much effort, but in a higher level match you will need to exert more energy than I saw today.
Additionally we spoke about kickoff positioning; it would be beneficial to start on the left side (of the attacking team) of play.
You are very fit, but there are times where you let your head hang down, always keep your head up to exude confidence.

Decision Making/Rules Application: Comments
The game did not require much, but from what I saw your foul bar as appropriate and you did not miss any CMI’s (critical match incidents)
Interaction with Team
1 = Good
Interaction with Team Comments
Communication is definitely one of your strengths. Keep building relationships with players during the game, and continue to set expectations with players. Be mindful of your physical contact, especially with youth players. Not saying it’s wrong, but if an interaction was filmed or photographed, what would it look like to someone on the outside. Keep up the strong work
Signaling:
1 = Good
Position at corner for signaling GK or CK
Signaling Coments
Signals look confident. Use your left hand when signaling GK. Keep using your non verbal communication just as gestures. Very powerful tool when used correctly.

Did the referee have the proper jersey and badge and was the jersey tucked in an worn approriatley
Yes
Did the referee wear black shorts
Yes
Did the referee wear black socks that were pulled up just below the knee
Yes
Uniform/Appearance comments
Hat and shoes are ok for DCSL. When you start doing ECNL, hat must be all black (I would encourage you to just put on sunscreen tho), shorts should be OSI. If you elect to wear compressions underneath, they must be black. If you do not have black cleats, it would be smart to invest in a pair. Same thing for black running shoes.
Comments for the Mentee
Stay fit and get familiar with the IFAB.
Keep up the good work!

Mentor's Recommendation
Mentee is Good to Center Games
Comments for the Assignor
He is ready for harder games. Depending on performance at Sandia cup, could be ready for ECNL. He has a lot of potential, hopefully we don’t lose him to Colorado indefinitely!
