Remember your first job as an assistant referee is to monitor and keep track of offside. This can only be done if you are staying even with the second to last defender. Put your focus on this for the next few weeks, then once you are more comfortable, you can begin to follow play a bit more. Your signals were great and your communication with the referee was also great. You gave him help where he needed it on out of bounds, goal kicks, corner kicks and you were firm and clear with how you handled the flag. You showed me you understand the game; now focus on keeping with the second to last defender, and you will become a good referee in no time.
