This is the second time I mentored Andi I saw strong progress. Andi is learning the diagonal well. He could work a little harder to get wider, and keeping the ball bracketed with the AR on the opposite sideline. I do believe this will come with more experience.

Most inexperienced refs have trouble with interacting with the players but I think this will come as he progresses.

Comments for the Mentee
Andi is open to instruction and suggestions and applies them. This is a huge positive. His positioning improved from first encounter. I want to see more eye contact with ARs. This is something he needs to work on. too many times, subs were left standing at midfield despite his ARs signalling to him. Assistant refs are there to assist. Let them do their jobs.

Andi has a good attitude and accepts instruction well. Improvement from first experience to second was solid. I believe Andi has the potential to be a solid center. A new voice in his ear will be beneficial but he has centered ASL, so I think it would be fine for him to taste DC. I believe he can handle it.
