This is the second time I have seen Zubair and one things we talked about after day was that he needed to get closer to play, to get wider and deeper. He needed to work on his diagonals. He improved, but there is definite need for more improvement. Zubair tends to be static too much instead of moving.

Comments for the Mentee
Zubair needs to continue working on his diagonal movement, reading the play so he is closer and moving more economically. I would like his to be assertive with his whistle and signalling. Definitely needs to continue to work on eye contact with ARs. As an AR, Zubair needs to continue to work on staying up with second-to-last defender.

Comments for the Assignor
Zubair remains a work in progress. While he has experience as an AR, I would like to see him continue to work on his mechanics, his eye contact with ARs and overall ability to cover the field properly. It would be helpful if Zubair had a low-level U11 girls game that was being mentored so he could gain experience from other voices. As an AR, Zubair needs to continue working on staying with second-to-last defender and following ball in toward goal.
