Anderson did a good job at staying within about 10 yards of play to be able to make the right call. However, in the first half he was not running a diagonal from the opposite AR flag to the opposite AR flag. So, at time he was to close to one AR and too far away from the other. He changed this in the second half

Anderson needs to work on his eye contact with his ARs there were at least 5 times in which he was unaware there were substitutions and it started frustrating the coach's. The coach's were yelling for him, but they were unable to get his attention. There were also 2 offsides calls that were delayed. His judgement on fouls was good. There was one off side call in which he wasn't sure of. He visited with the AR and awarded the team a goal. The only issue was that the defending team believed there was an offside and it effected their play. He needed to spot the flag sooner and blow the whistle or wave the flag down.

There were a few times when coaches and players were confused on the calls and whether they could sub. Anderson needs to make sure that he is waving subs onto the pitch while signaling to the players to old the ball from being played. Also, his goal kick signal looked like a DFK signal. We corrected that. He had one hand ball in which his signal was not clear enough for the players and the coaches to know what the call was

Anderson presented himself in a very professional way. He had the proper equipment and his appearance helped gain him respect from the coach's and players. He did forget to start his watch at the start of the match which is a common rookie mistake. He had two outstanding ARs who had the time kep for him and he knows he should make sure his ARs are also keeping time in the future,
Comments for the Mentee
Anderson did a good job. He took his role as an official seriously, welcomed feedback from the mentor and ARs and corrected his technique. I believe he will make an good center for U12 games for the remainder of the season. He just needs to get more games under his belt. Mistakes will happen, but he will treat them as learning moments.
