I saw Josë in his fourth game and he was well behind play in the first half. We discussed the importance of being closer to play and ways to do so even when physically challenged by the schedule. His movement and positioning improved significantly in the second half.

I was impressed with the ease that Josë was able to incorporate his game knowledge into better positioning on the field, despite a loaded schedule. Very high fitness level is a strong bonus. Consistent foul bar, made the calls he needed to make. Would like to see him becoming more verbal with players, working proactively to keep the game in control.

Comments for the Assignor
As a former player, Josë understands the game and was able to use that knowledge and instinct to get better positioning when tired. The importance of eye contact with ARs and letting them be assistants was lacking but that point was explained at halftime and he worked to better that in the second half. It is something that just needs to become an ingrained habit. I think there is tremendous potential for Josë to quickly advance to higher level games.
