Ref Base – Point History

Player for NM Rapids ECNL RL, #4 Nicolas Flores, was sent off for receiving 2 yellow cards for dissent. The first yellow card card came in at 53 minute of the game. I called a goal kick for NM Rapids and stop the game because their goalkeeper was on the ground following the play. I didn’t call a fall because nothing malicious happened. When the keeper was being attended to, Flores told me that I need to do a better job at officiating the game and carded them for dissent. Later in the game at the 68 minutes, AR 1, Saskia King, raised her flag to signal for an offsides and I made the call. There was dissent from multiple players and parents. That is also when Flores told me to “substitute her.” King was the only women on the field that was a member of the officiating team or on either team’s rosters. That is when I cautioned Flores a second time for dissent and sent them off with a red card. Afterwards, Flores started expletives, including the “f-word,” as they walked off the field. I explained to King what was said after the call, before I resumed the game.
