The reason I gave this a 2 is because it worked for this match. However, in a more physical, quicker, or more intense match, your positioning would get you in some trouble. I would recommend getting closer to play. At 14:10, you signaled a throw in, and you were in the opposite half from where play was. It is ok to run a bit in these younger games. The trick is to get close without being in the way. When you were out of position, most of the time, there was a counter attack or play transitioned faster than you could walk. You can either jog to catch back up with play, or read play and start walking before play moves.

I don't think there was a single foul in this match, so you passed! Everything looked good, no major errors from my perspective.

I would say about 85% of the time your signals are good/correct. However, the other 15% you signal incorrectly, then change and mirror your AR.

I liked your communication with the players on restarts; when you would say "on my whistle" that was really good.
Comments for the Assignor (will not get sent to mentee)
Super easy games. 0 fouls in the entire match so he missed nothing! However, he needs to run, maybe it was just because there was nothing going on in the game, but he did not run at all and got caught out of position several times.

Appearance, you looked good, however, you need to run a little bit. It shows the players/coaches/parents that you're engaged. I get it though, it's a really slow game and nothing is happening, why run? It's all just optics.

Comments for the Referee
When stopping play for a substitution, instead of doing one tweet on your whistle do a double tap: tweet tweet. Just to differentiate your whistle sound. Also, get closer to play, in this match it worked out fine, but in a higher level match, you do not want to get caught that far out of position, play would burn you. Great job on talking with the players to communicate holding the ball on the whistle, keep up that verbal communication, it is great. Good job working with your AR's, you didn't miss them at all, great job.
