Referee – Video Submissions

This is easily the most frustrating match in a long time as far a officials go. Both coaches were pleading with the center to start making calls. In the video I marked some of the more egregious no-calls. The center was in good position to clearly see every instance, but chose to swallow his whistle instead of controlling the match.

What made this game so frustrating is that players from both teams became frustrated, leading to cheap shots and other unnecessarily hard fouls. I know Coach Bill and Darren from LAFC well, and none of us teach our kids to give cheap fouls. But there we were. I can't see how this center should be working even at this modest level of play.
